Sportsworld Pacific has been appointed as the Official Ticket and Tour Operator by the Australian Commonwealth Games Association.
The vibrant city of New Dehli, home to 14 million people will host the Commonwealth Games in 2010. This will be the first time India has hosted the Games and only the 2nd time an Asian country has hosted them. It is anticipated that Australia will send its largest team to ever compete in an overseas campaign, with more than 425 athletes and 175 officials that are expected to be selected.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games are to be held from the 3rd - 14th October inclusive of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. There will be 19 sports on the program for Delhi making it the largest games to date with over 5,000 athletes from 70 countries.
Delhi is located a few hours away from the world's greatest monument to love, the majestic Taj Mahal in Agra. Also close by is the colourful state of Rajasthan with its forts and palaces, tales of valour, and unbeatable exotic experiences. The sheer scale and diversity of India offers a range of destinations and experiences fond nowhere else in the world: the mystical and breathtaking Himalayas in the north; vast beaches with and exciting range of water sports and other activities. Peaceful lagoons and inland waterways, yoga and meditation to lift your spirits, wildlife parks to commune with nature and ancient heritage sites to remind you of India's past. Leisure Tour packages
Leisure Tour packages offer guests the flexibility of choosing the events you want to see yet include accommodation, airport transfers and the services of Sportsworld staff for the duration of your stay.

Ticket only
Ticket only allows individuals to request 'tickets only' for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, for the events of your choice. Ticket only and tickets to accompany Leisure Tour packages will be available for request from the end of May using our on-line request system, which will also allow you to manage your account online.

Please note: whilst we hope this is a final session plan, the organising committee in Delhi do hold the right to change, cancel or update any of these events should they deem it necessary. As this is the official Event Schedule, it should be kept up-to-date by Delhi 2010.

Visas and Passports
Australian citizens require a full Australian passport and require a visa for entry to India. Please contact the VFS Global as they are the trusted partner of the Indian High Commission via their website www.vfs-in-au.net for full information relating to the visa requirements.
